A PLACE TO MEET WITH GOD
We’re a church obsessed with His Word and His presence.
SUNDAYS 10AM
6711 OAK ST, FRISCO
ALTARS ARE PLACES OF ENCOUNTER, WORSHIP, SACRIFICE, AND REMEMBRANCE.
WHAT IS AN ALTAR?
We are a church building altars that God wants to come to – in this city, in our homes, and in ourselves.
We believe in living lives laid down before Him. There’s not one part of us that doesn’t all belong to him and isn’t meant to be used to bring Him glory. We exist to give Him what He wants. And when we give Him what He wants, He never fails to show up in great power.

COME VISIT
Sundays are where we reorient ourselves back to Jesus. If you’re planning on joining us for the first time, let us know you’re coming so we can have a friendly face waiting for you upon arrival!
ESSENTIALS
New to our church? Essentials is an informal four week course where you’ll have the opportunity to hear what we’re all about, what we believe, and what may be next for you.
GROUPS
Groups meet right across the region and are where we connect, hang out and have fun. Joining a Group is the best way to build meaningful relationships at Altars, and journey in your faith alongside others.
About our Pastors and Covering
CAM & MIKAYLA BUTRYN
Cam and Mikayla are the lead pastors of Altars Church. They have been married since 2020 and have a sweet little girl whom they love raising in the house of God. Originally hailing from Canada and Australia, they now call Frisco, Texas home and are excited to play a part in all that God is doing in this great city.
Their ministry is marked by their passion to see people know the one, true Living God. In a region where it’s so easy to know the Gospel and check the boxes, they long to see people live lives of wholehearted worship before the throne, in radical obedience to the Word and be on selfless mission to the world.
Altars is a part of C3, a global church family with over 600 churches in 64 nations. With a vision to establish churches worldwide, it has spread from Australia to Kazakhstan, Sweden to Brazil, embodying a welcoming spirit and commitment to growth.
